Blum Carcass rail
I can't figure it out without the instructions - is the piece that goes on the drawer not included or how do I get rid of it?
The part on the drawer is not included. It's just the runners inside the cabinet. Replacement when the pistons no longer work, so the drawer slammed in my case. If you're replacing your drawer, you need to be sure that the Blum system matches the rails on your drawer.
I only replaced the rails on the left and right of the body because they were completely rusted through. Moving them felt like driving on cobblestones. The parts on the drawer were fine. Using the article number on the rails, I found the exact replacement. Screwed on the rails and fitted the drawer. Runs smoothly and quietly again.
This is only the part that is screwed to the cabinet. The runner on the drawer is separate. If you only want to replace the rails on the cabinet, for example because the dampers are worn out, you can keep the old parts on the drawers.
You only need to replace these two rails on the left and right of the furniture, then insert the drawer from above and it will fit.
It's been a while, I think it's just for the wardrobe.
