I have an old American Omega Jazz (floppy disk player) with a transformer with the following descriptions: Input: 120VAC 60Hz 38W Would this converter work correctly? Thanks

Helpful answer

Yes, no problem, because it converts 50 and 60 Hz

Yes

In Switzerland we have a mains voltage of 230V 50Hz
In the USA it has a mains voltage of 120V 60Hz (formerly 110V)

So we have almost twice as high a voltage here

For this reason, the voltage of American appliances that are plugged in in Switzerland must be transformed down.
