The grill's fan is powered either by 4 AA batteries or alternatively via a USB cable connected to a USB power bank or USB power supply unit (power supply unit not included). This means you can either use the barbecue with batteries or without batteries by supplying it with power directly via USB. A direct connection to a conventional socket is only possible via a USB power supply unit, not directly on the grill itself. The USB connection is therefore used to power the fan, which provides the air supply and ignites the charcoal.
