It depends on how rough your abrasion wall is! If it is too rough, the mounting tape may not hold well enough. I have attached pictures with Tesa adhesive nails, but with a weight of 3 kg this is not possible. With a nail or dowel, your wooden frame will hold in any case.

Unfortunately, I have no practical experience with 3 kg weight load, but the description says that:
should hold up to 10 kg per 10 cm of strap load. So I think yes - should not be a problem.
