Is the Nest Protect v2 Wired only a carbon monoxide detector, or also a smoke detector? Unfortunately, I can't make heads or tails of the specification. And I'm very confused about the big price differences! I am looking for a smoke detector from Nest that I can connect directly to 220V.

Is also a smoke or fire detector. Correct, this model can be connected directly to 220V, whereby this is provided (without earthing) by means of a small plug supplied. It is therefore easiest to install on a ceiling light point.
