Question about BEG 93331 RC-plus next N 230
Is this current Luxomat plug-in compatible with the Luxomat RC-Plus 230 bracket from 2001? And does the remote control from that year also work? With the Luxomats from 2001, some of the plastic windows of the PIR have fallen apart**, others do not switch on the LED headlights reliably. It works with the halogen 300W. Are the current Luxomats also suitable for 15W LED headlights? ** Are these available as spare parts?

The brackets are compatible both mechanically and electrically. I had the same operating problem and when I dismantled the detectors, I discovered that the spiders had infiltrated and built nests not only in the base but also in the detector. The damage was irreparable and the whole detector had to be replaced.

In my case, the bracket was compatible. However, I cannot confirm whether the previous element was a Luxomat RC-Plus 230. We did end up replacing everything because most of the old components fell apart. A fluorescent energy-saving lamp (from the late 80s) was originally used. We replaced this with a new LED lamp when we installed the new motion detector. It now works perfectly.

RC-plus next 230 N could be plugged onto an old bracket of RC-plus next 130, also works with the old remote control.
In my case, the plug-in clutch was compatible, even an older model about 20 years old.
