Can be winterised. According to the manufacturer: Bestway's steel-walled pools can be wintered outdoors thanks to their robust construction. Nevertheless, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure that the pool survives the winter well.

The water should not be drained completely, as it ensures the stability of the pool on the one hand and protects the foil against frost damage on the other. However, the water level in the pool must be lowered according to the operating instructions.

Before winter storage, the steel-walled pool should be thoroughly cleaned. The pH value must also be adjusted correctly. Adding an anti-wintering agent and covering the pool with a cover foil, pool tarpaulin or pool cover prevents algae formation, limescale deposits and water turbidity and makes cleaning in spring much easier.

Even before the first frost, the ladder and the complete filter system as well as all hoses must be removed. If you use a sand filter pump, do not forget to backwash it thoroughly! Thoroughly empty the filter pump and hoses and store them in a dry frost-proof place.

Ice pressure pads help to reduce the pressure on the walls of your steel-walled pool during severe frost. You can either attach the ice pressure pads to the walls or place them centrally through the pool. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
