To the people who have already bought and used the pool: How long can you leave the water in such a pool until you have to replace it?

Hello dear pool friends!
Just to clarify something: The water can stay in it for the whole season - provided it is properly maintained! The water must never become "milky" or even "green"!!! Then the sauce is "tipped" and a water change is inevitable!
The filter of the circulation pump (e.g. type "A") must be changed about every 2 weeks. You can also turn it 180° after a week and put it back in, as the contamination usually starts at the bottom... However, "rinsing it off" with a garden hose is a waste of time and money - there is not only visible dirt in it!)
You also need a PH & chlorine tester, PH-Minus granulate (rarely the Plus granulate) and of course chlorine. We have had the best experience with the "quick chlorine granulate" from Neogard, Brugg. This can be dissolved well beforehand in a bucket filled with the pool water and then dumped into the pool. Every two to three days (in hot weather) the water has to be rechlorinated (depending on what the test strip says...). Once the PH value is right, you need much less chlorine...
Greetings

We first worked with the chlorine from Landi. but as my kids are a bit tricky with their skin, I switched to active oxygen. we went to a pool outlet for advice. In the end, I decided on the SpaTime brand. It wasn't cheap, but we didn't have any more problems with our skin...

With the right chemicals, care and weather, i.e. temperatures throughout the summer. The higher the water temperature, the quicker it turns milky or even green. I clean the filter daily with the garden hose, which also has an influence on the water quality.
