Question about Bosch Professional Gsr 12v-15
What is the difference between all these Bosch drills / cordless screwdrivers? The previous speakers have basically said everything there is to say. If you want to enjoy a device for a long time, the green one is already out of the question.
In my opinion, two sets in particular are recommended:
Bosch Professional GSR 10.8-2-LI Set (10.80V, 4000mAh, Li-Ion)
Bosch Professional GSB 12-2-LI, 2 batteries incl. L-Boxx (10.80V, 2000mAh, Li-Ion)
If you are only looking for/need a good screwdriver in the household and don't have that many other tools, I recommend the set with the bag. It's small and can be stored anywhere. If you already have a lot of tools or space for them, I recommend the set with the case, especially if you might choose one or two other Bosch blue machines in the future. The ecosystem is excellent and the price/performance ratio is top! You will have a lot of fun with these machines for a long time. :-)
My favourite is the set with the case (L-Boxx), because this drill has an impact function (not comparable with a real hammer drill, but still very nice (you can tell from the designation (GSR = normal drill / GSB = with impact function).
The cordless screwdrivers themselves are identical except for the EasyDrill (green).
This means that the strength of all Professional screwdrivers (the blue ones are of higher quality) is identical.
Then there are those with 10.8V vs. 12V.
The ones with 10.8V are those with the previous designation (average voltage), but Bosch has now changed this to 12V (max. output voltage). The product itself is identical and therefore compatible.
The offers differ mainly in the battery (number, capacity) and the accessories.
The capacity (2Ah vs. 4Ah) indicates how much energy the battery contains (or more correctly, how much power it can deliver for one hour) -> This determines how long you can drill / screw. For a normal household, 2Ah is sufficient. However, if you are planning a major renovation where you will be screwing / drilling for a whole day, it is better to use the large (4Ah) battery or, if necessary, the set with the two small (2Ah) batteries so that you can charge one when the other is in use.
There are various differences between the products mentioned (accessories, battery capacity, design, power, etc.). The products can be easily compared using the "Compare" function.
The mAh indicates the capacity of the battery(ies) supplied. The torque (measured in Nm) indicates the force of the device.
