Art. No.: 510104707 Art. Description: 1:12 Renault RE 20 Turbo. This display model is a replica of the Renault RE 20 Turbo. In 1977, the French car manufacturer Renault made its debut in the Formula One World Championship with a dedicated racing team that introduced significant innovations in the world of competition. The F1 Renault team participated in the 1980 championship with the Renault RE20, powered by a turbocharged V6 Renault Gordini EF1 engine producing 520 hp. The team was entirely French, consisting of drivers Jean-Pierre Jabouille with the starting number 15 and René Arnoux with the starting number 16. During the season, the team achieved three victories at the GP of Brazil, South Africa, and Austria. The Renault 20 series was modified and improved, but in the 1981 season, it was replaced after the first five races by the 30 series with a redesigned chassis.
