Lilienthal 31 is the joint further development in cooperation with the DMFV for youth work in clubs and work groups for schools. The Lilienthal 30 model manufactured by aero-naut up to now has been revised so that the construction time could be shortened again. A thermal brake and turn control have been omitted in order to achieve a quick and uncomplicated assembly. The instructions contain information for upgrading the model with a subsequent cam control system. The Lilienthal is built entirely in wood with a covering of Japanese paper. The wing has a straight surface on the lower side so that no problems can occur during construction. All parts made of balsa, abachi and plywood are precisely laser cut. The leading and trailing edges are milled and cut to give the ribs the right place and support.
