Players help the large and small animals find shelter in the protective stables. Whoever can gather six different animals in a stable receives the animal cards. The player with the most animal cards wins. The four stable cards are placed face down in the center of the table. Each stable card marks the beginning of a row. The animal cards are shuffled and placed face down as a draw pile in front of the stable cards. When it's a player's turn, they draw the top card from the draw pile and place it face up in one of the four rows. An animal must always be placed in a row where it does not already appear. A card with multiple animals can only be placed in a row where at least one of the depicted animals does not yet exist. If an animal appears in all four rows, the player may place the drawn card in any row. The drawn animal card is always added to the end of the chosen row. Then, the next player takes their turn. Whoever places the sixth animal in a row receives all the animal cards from that row, including the one just placed. The stable card remains in place. The player who can take the animal cards from a row places them in a stack in front of them. The game ends as soon as the last animal card from the draw pile has been placed in a row.
