On the Edge - Expansion for Pandemic (EN), from 8 years

Pandemic - On the Edge is an expansion for the popular cooperative game Pandemic. In this, players take on the roles of various doctors and experts to work together to find a cure for four dangerous diseases – before the pathogens infect the entire human population.

With seven new roles, new abilities, and eight new special events, "On the Edge" adds additional possibilities and combinations to the base game. Furthermore, up to five players can now team up against the diseases. Additionally, various challenges can be introduced, bringing entirely new elements to the game. For instance, in the Mutation Challenge, a fifth, completely unpredictable disease is introduced, or a player competes against the others in the Bio-Terrorist Challenge. In the Viral Strain Challenge, a disease becomes particularly deadly.

This expansion is compatible with the 2013 edition of Pandemic.
