In Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 (yellow box), you will venture into a world now ravaged by the plague you faced in Season 1. You did your best to stop its advance, but it wasn't enough. However, this new chapter, set 71 years after the events of the first season, can very well be played without having played the previous chapter. The only references to Season 1 are related to some story elements that will enrich your experience in the game and in the history of the game. As in the previous version, each game represents a month of play; if you win, you can continue to the next month; otherwise, you will have to repeat it. Some of the heroes may die during the course of the games and therefore will not be available for the following ones, while others will be able to develop heroic abilities that will help you even more in your global mission. Each character will have a name, which you decide, and a background that will make it unique. Each game will be different from the others, but it will also be the fruit of what you have done previously and will constitute one more step on the road to the reconquest of the mainland by the survivors of the plague.
