In Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 (yellow box), you enter a world that has now been ravaged by the plague you faced in the first season. You did your best to stop its advance, but it wasn't enough. However, this new chapter, which takes place 71 years after the events of the first season, can be played very well without having played the previous chapter. The only references to the first season relate to some story elements that will enrich your experience in the game and its narrative. As in the previous version, each game represents one month of gameplay; if you win, you can move on to the next month; otherwise, you must repeat it. Some heroes may die during the games and will no longer be available for subsequent ones, while others can develop heroic abilities that will further assist you in your global mission. Each character will have a name that you choose and a background that makes them unique. Each game will differ from the others, but it will also be the result of what you have done previously and will represent another step towards the reclamation of the mainland by the survivors of the plague.
