The Ryan STA (Sport Trainer Series A) is based on a design from 1936 by T. Claude Ryan, who also created the world-famous "Spirit of St. Louis." Contrary to popular belief, the Ryan STA is not a racing aircraft, but rather a sport plane. The original model is powered by a modest 95 or 125 horsepower engine. Nevertheless, the Ryan STA impresses with its sleek appearance and excellent aerobatic capabilities. Our model is designed for electric or combustion engines and is a significant enhancement to the often very dull model aircraft sky. The model is optimally powered by our NGH GT-25 gasoline engine.
