The BRESSER MikroCam II cameras enable easy capturing of photos and videos with a microscope.

The modern Sony CMOS sensors deliver brilliant colors with overall very low image noise, making them the perfect solution for applications where natural color reproduction is essential. The included capture software offers numerous settings for taking still images and videos. An integrated measurement function allows for measurements to be taken directly in the live image. The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese. The housing features a C-Mount connection thread. For use with devices that have a 23.2 mm mount, an optional variable 0.5x reduction lens is available. For specialized applications, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.

Compared to the MikroCam SP, the BRESSER MikroCam II is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection. This allows for data transfer rates up to 8 times higher than with USB 2.0 connections. As a result, the cameras can transmit more than 50 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time, and computer performance). This is particularly important when observing live microorganisms. The camera is exceptionally light-sensitive, enabling work with short exposure times even at high magnifications or under demanding contrast conditions.
