With the Citroën DS3 WRC, Sébastian Loeb won the Monte Carlo Rally on his first attempt, finishing with a lead of 2 minutes and 45 seconds. This could only mean good things. Later, Loeb recognized the talent of his compatriot Stéphane Lefebvre and supported him from then on. Lefebvre achieved his best result with the racing car in the UK, finishing in eighth place. Mads Østberg switched to the Citroën DS3 WRC in 2014 and then raced for the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi WRT team for two years.
