The famous Royal Guard of Sunspear from House Martell consists of only a few men, but it is one of the best-trained units in all of Westeros. It is so adaptable that it is suitable for both offensive and defensive operations. Although their armor is heavier than that of most Martell units, they can keep up thanks to their excellent conditioning. As the hard core of an advance guard, the Royal Guard makes the Martell troops nearly invincible.
