Disney Lorcana TCG is a trading card game that was released in August 2023. The game takes place in the wonderful land of Lorcan. Players take on the role of Illuminators and summon famous and beloved Disney characters using magical ink. Thanks to their unique abilities, these characters create their own storyline alongside the player, leading them to victory. Additionally, Disney Lorcana cards stand out with graphics featuring well-known and beloved Disney characters, giving them a very high collector's value.

In May 2024, the game publisher Ravensburger launched a new format of higher-ranking tournaments called the Disney Lorcana TCG Challenge. The first two events, held on the same weekend in Atlanta and Lille, attracted over 4,000 participants, with many more eager players wanting to join. It is estimated that the number of players and collectors worldwide at that time already exceeded 200,000, despite the game's young age. Today, there are many more.
