Lord of the Rings LCG: Secrets of Mirkwood, Card Game, for 1-4 Players, Ages 14 and Up (DE Expansion)

Many years ago, when the Sorcerer of Spirits first settled in Dol Guldur, the Elves fled from the southern regions of Mirkwood. The Dwarves of Nibin-dûm, however, did not abandon their ancient homeland. They continued to live hidden in the mountains of Mirkwood until an earthquake devastated their halls and caused their tunnels to collapse. Nibin-dûm was lost, and the Dwarves moved to their cousins in the Iron Mountains.

The expansion Secrets of Mirkwood for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game includes two new standalone adventures, The Oath and The Depths of Nibin-dûm. The goal of the scenarios is to find the Goblin hideout in Mirkwood and rescue the captured Woodmen before it's too late. Along the way, you must contend with giant spiders, the confusing paths of the forest, and of course, the Goblins you are hunting.

Each scenario covers half of the journey, with The Oath focusing on the search for the Goblin hideout and The Depths of Nibin-dûm covering everything that happens within it.

Secrets of Mirkwood can also be played in campaign mode, either as a continuation of the Paths Through Mirkwood campaign from the base game or as its own mini-campaign with two scenarios.
