Letters from Whitechapel is an investigative game developed by the creators of Garibaldi and Mister X: Flight Through Europe, inspired by the murders committed by Jack the Ripper and the desperate attempts of Scotland Yard to stop him. Each time the player controlling Jack commits a new murder, he pursues his own goal. In a tangled web of streets, the agents must individually determine the path they have taken (using clues on the board) by naming the locations where Jack is supposed to be, or by trying to arrest him during his escape by naming only one location and making an arrest attempt. Jack wins the game if he is not arrested for 5 days, but his arrest determines the outcome.
