More than 400,000 beech, oak, and maple trees have been planted since 2004. Only wood from sustainable European forestry is used, and they are working to make as many products as possible circular, meaning cradle-to-cradle.

Gollnest & Kiesel is also socially engaged worldwide, creating schools in developing countries where children get the opportunity for education. It is a matter of course that no GoKi toy is made by children: "We make toys for children, not by children." In the GoKi-owned factory in China, Western standards regarding occupational safety and security are upheld. Toys should be fun and safe. To ensure the highest safety standards, the team in GoKi's quality management constantly tests all products in their in-house laboratory. External testing institutions also regularly examine GoKi products through extensive tests.
