The TopFuel LiFe cells are designed in a flat, LiPo-like form factor, making them ideal for fitting into almost any existing battery compartment. The main difference from LiPo and LiIon batteries is the lower voltage level of 3.3 volts to a maximum of 3.6 volts per cell. LiFe batteries are significantly less sensitive to under- and over-voltage. They are characterized by a very constant and flat discharge curve as well as a very high cycle stability. The battery comes pre-soldered with the XT60 connector system. Connections: XT60 connector with gold contacts, suitable for continuous loads of up to 60 amps, XH balancer connector. Internal chip for battery telemetry: The passive MTAG chip stores battery data such as type, number of cells, capacity, C-rate, or battery ID. These values can be read out with an external NFC sensor if needed and transferred to the transmitter telemetry. Additionally, the built-in MTAG chip allows for manual or automatic counting and storing of charge cycles. When using multiple identical batteries in series or parallel operation, this enables more effective active battery management. Note: It is up to the user whether they want to utilize the MTAG function or not. The TopFuel battery can be used like any regular battery without MTAG.
