In Mindbug, you summon hybrid creatures and send them into battle against your opponent. However, when you summon a creature, your opponent can use one of their Mindbugs to take control of it. Outsmart your opponent in a captivating tactical duel, where the best cards and playing at the wrong time can be deadly for you.

The cards in Mindbug represent unique creatures, each with powerful abilities like a compost dragon, a snail hydra, or a kangasaurus rex. Each player starts the game with ten creature cards (five in hand and five in the draw pile) and aims to reduce the opponent's life points to zero. Additionally, each player receives two Mindbug cards that can be used to control an opponent's creature when it is played. This innovative Mindbug mechanism is the core of the game and leads to a unique decision-making process that makes Mindbug feel completely different from any other card game.

Playing a card in Mindbug does not require resources. Therefore, the game has no build phase (like resource gathering) and does not need weak cards. Since there is also no deck-building, you can play immediately from a single deck. There is no unfair advantage, as players draw cards from the same deck and always have the chance to control the strongest opposing cards. In the end, it all comes down to your own decisions, making the game extremely fair and competitive at the same time.
