The super lightweight Jet-Tronics dual-circuit valve is equipped with 3 additional functions beyond the normal switching mode for double-acting cylinders.

1. Throttle Function: The extension and retraction of the landing gear can be electronically throttled separately for both directions. This prevents wear on the cell and the attachment points that can occur due to strong impacts. The electronics throttle significantly at first and only slightly towards the end of the throttle time, resulting in a smooth, controlled movement during the extension and retraction of the landing gear.

2. Air-Failsafe Function: Approximately 90% of air leaks occur between the valve and the cylinders, as this is where most sources of failure are located (branches, connections between the fuselage and surfaces, cylinders). If the landing gear is mechanically self-locking, the compressed air can be turned off after the landing gear has been extended or retracted. When this option is selected, the valve shuts off after 15 seconds (sufficient for almost all landing gears). A leak after the valve will not lead to a loss of pressure, allowing the landing gear to extend safely.

3. Manual Function: If the transmitter is not available, the valve can still be operated.
