For decades, Jan van Haasteren has been creating highly detailed, colorful, and above all, humorous illustrations exclusively for Jumbo. Most of his fans immediately look for Jan's trademark – the shark fin, which can be found in every puzzle. However, you can also keep an eye out for other favorite elements – such as Saint Nicholas, false teeth, or Jan's self-portrait, which appear in almost all of his images. Over the years, numerous illustrations by Jan van Haasteren have been released as puzzles with 150 to 5000 pieces by Jumbo. Every year, Jumbo will introduce new puzzles featuring illustrations by Jan van Haasteren.
