With this 3-piece passenger train (the locomotive is modeled after a Bavarian D6, and the cars are inspired by Austrian flatcars), Kato launched the successful "Pocket Line" series many years ago. The small 2-axle locomotive is relatively delicate, as the drive is housed in the chassis of the first passenger car. The pulling power is sufficient to tow an additional 3 cars. The drive is powered by a high-quality 5-pole Kato motor. This model makes it easy to step into the "good old steam locomotive era." There are still many Swiss, Austrian, Dutch, French, and German heritage railways and clubs that feature prototypes of this train.
