Express version of the rules:
1. Draw 1 card from 4 evidence categories – these are the missing pieces of evidence in the case.
2. Distribute the remaining evidence and rumor cards, bribe tokens, and draw character cards for the players.
3. During the game, each player writes down the collected information in an investigation notebook and can perform one of five actions: interrogate, community interview, request evidence, draw a card, or solve the case.
4. The first person to correctly solve the investigation wins.
