The PROFI locomotive cradle features two recesses. In one, the locomotive can be securely held upside down in the soft foam to oil the gears and axles, for example. The slanted shelf allows locomotives and cars to be placed sideways or at an angle. This makes it easy to clean side walls, oil motors and piston rods, and perform many other maintenance tasks. The locomotive cradle is complemented by various compartments and cutouts for holding tools, aids, and small parts. An integrated magnetic sheet is designed to hold tiny screws in place.
