The Dalotel 1500 is the scaled-down version of the legendary aerobatic model with which Hanno Prettner won three of his total eight championships at the international Las Vegas Tournament of Champions. The original is a two-seater French aerobatic trainer that has the ideal dimensions and lever arms for aerobatics. The goal was to combine the unique aerobatic characteristics with everyday usability in a trunk-friendly size, while also enabling perfect show flying capabilities for the most extreme maneuvers. The included retractable landing gear enhances the aesthetics and aerodynamics, especially with lower-powered engines, for enjoyable hobby flying. Developed in collaboration with Hanno Prettner, this Dalotel 1500 has been optimized for electric use and constructed using the latest wooden building techniques. New technological advancements such as laser-cut construction, brushless motors, LiPo batteries, and electric retractable landing gear allow for very gentle flying and landing characteristics at a low flight weight. Our aim was to retain the charm, charisma, and precision of this flying legend. Enlarged control surfaces and a long, quickly detachable cockpit facilitate battery changes and maintenance in seconds. It is transport-friendly due to its removable wing halves. Optionally, this model can also be equipped with a 55cc 2-stroke glow engine.
