Variant of the BR 103 as a short version of the DB AG in Era V. Even over 50 years after its introduction, the legendary cult locomotives of the BR 103 remain optical highlights on German railway lines due to their timeless appearance, attracting much attention. The model impresses with a heavy metal die-cast frame, finely detailed body, exquisite painting and printing, as well as delicate metal pantographs. The five-pole, ball-bearing motor provides excellent driving characteristics with two flywheels. The LED light change occurs direction-dependent in white/red and can be digitally switched, like the driver's cab interior lighting, with a PluX22 decoder. The model features a PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
