The BR 193 Vectron in the design of DB Systemtechnik Era VI. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a highly precise model that is based on a solid zinc die-cast frame and features numerous extras equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tested PIKO motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The traction of the locomotive, which is powered by all four axles, is enhanced by two traction tires that are arranged diagonally on the inner-running axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lamps is provided by LEDs, which change from red to white depending on the direction of travel. The model's outwardly elegant appearance includes an accurately replicated technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototype-appropriate wheel disc profiles. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface and ample space on the circuit board, the model is perfectly prepared for retrofitting a decoder with the largest possible speaker.
