The BR 78 from PIKO features a design and lettering that accurately represents the DR in Era IV. Almost all lines are executed as freestanding, and the cab, water boxes, and smoke chamber are adorned with finely detailed reproductions of the rivet heads. The five-pole PIKO motor with flywheel ensures excellent running characteristics. Additional weights in the boiler and two traction tires provide high pulling power. The sound variant comes factory-equipped with a PIKO sound decoder, including a speaker and an integrated smoke unit. Direction-dependent LED lighting creates an authentic operating atmosphere.
