On a beautiful summer morning, the residents of Novelmore are in a state of alarm: the riverbed where their village is located is bone dry, and the two wells have run dry as well. Fearing the Burnham Raiders, King John wants to bring in urgently needed water from surrounding villages. However, Prince Arwynn wants to get to the bottom of things with his friends Gwynn and Dario, and they ride to the source of the river. It will be a journey full of adventures: Dario discovers the secret of a hidden cave, Gwynn uncovers her special connection to wolves, and Arwynn faces Bayron Burnham - the leader of the rival Burnham Raiders and his father's fiercest adversary.
