The PBR-5XS has been specifically designed for indoor flying models. Weighing only 2 g, the PBR-5XS is ideal for models where weight is a significant factor. Therefore, the PBR-5XS omits a housing and connector strips, reducing the board thickness to the bare minimum.

The receiver part of the PBR-5XS uses a chip antenna, which is compactly and robustly integrated into the board, making it resistant to mechanical influences. Thanks to its compact design and chip antenna, the PBR-5XS has a range of over 1000 m.

Another unique feature is the additional analog measurement input. Here, the drive battery can be connected directly, for example, via the balancer connection. The PBR-5XS measures the voltage of the drive battery (up to 3s / 12.6 V) and transmits this information via telemetry directly to the transmitter. This allows the voltage of the drive battery and the BEC voltage of the regulator to be displayed via telemetry.

The supply voltage from the BEC, all servos, and the voltage measurement of the drive battery are directly soldered onto the board of the PBR-5XS. Subsequently, the receiver is heat-shrinked.
