The PBR-5XS has been specifically designed for indoor flight models. Weighing only 2 g, the PBR-5XS is ideal for models where weight is a significant factor. Therefore, the PBR-5XS omits a housing and connector strips, reducing the board thickness to the bare minimum.

The receiver part of the PBR-5XS operates with a chip antenna, which is compactly integrated on the board and is resistant to mechanical influences. Thanks to its compact design and chip antenna, the PBR-5XS has a range of over 1000 m.

Another special feature is the additional analog measurement input. Here, the drive battery can be connected directly, for example, using the balancer connection. The PBR-5XS measures the voltage of the drive battery (up to 3s / 12.6 V) and transmits this information via telemetry directly to the transmitter. This allows for the voltage of the drive battery and the BEC voltage of the regulator to be displayed via telemetry.

The supply voltage from the BEC, all servos, and the voltage measurement of the drive battery are directly soldered onto the board in the PBR-5XS. Afterward, the receiver is heat-shrinked.
