Hello, the pen can only be used in one language (e.g. French or German). So you need one pen per language. However, if you have a German game/book that is also available in French, the French pen will work, as long as you download the corresponding software onto the pen (and vice versa). For example, I have a German pen and a French pen, but I don't buy the books twice. For example, the French pen can be used on books/games printed in German if they also exist in French (there is a much larger offer in German than in French). In my case, this has always worked, except for one book. It allows my children to read the same book or play the same game in two different languages. However, as far as the create pen is concerned, as far as I know, since all the compatible games/books are only in German, I think that it is indeed only possible (for the time being) to record in German.
I am of the opinion that no! When buying a pen and a book, you have to choose the appropriate language and then load the purchased books/articles onto the respective pen via the Tiptoi software, otherwise nothing works.
The latest pen (with recording function) is only available in DE, FR and EN. There used to be an Italian version of older pens. As far as I know, there are no other languages. You can change the language with the Tiptoi software. (Details here: https://www.ravensburger.de/entdecken...)
Apparently there is a competing product called "ting" that speaks Polish. But with other books. I don't know ting. Here's a comparison of the two pens: http://www.xn--gute-kinderbcher-uzb.de/20170322...
