JR Sanyo Shinkansen 500 Type Shinkansen Kodama version of the Z-Shorty series. The 500 Type Shinkansen was designed to compete with the popular air transport at that time. The Shinkansen has a unique and functional design, featuring less railroad noise and higher speed than previous Shinkansen models. Even though over 20 years have passed since it was put into service, this type of Shinkansen is still popular today. This set includes 3 cars (front car, middle car, and rear car) with individual dummy chassis. SA002-1 fits the middle car as a locomotive, while SA004-1 turns the front and rear cars into side cars.
