Product details

All motifs in the Famous Painters series have been skillfully and carefully translated into the paint-by-numbers technique by Schipper Arts & Crafts. For every hobby painter, it is a highlight to recreate these precious originals and experience their creation.

When Claude Monet (1840-1926) created his famous garden in Giverny, it served as a source of inspiration for many of his garden paintings. The painting Water Lily Pond with Japanese Bridge was created in 1899. In his later years, Claude Monet suffered from a severe eye condition, which increasingly became apparent in his paintings. After two surgeries, he regained his sight, but was plagued by depression and even destroyed unfinished paintings and sketches because he did not want them to be sold. He passed away on December 5, 1926, in Giverny.

Masterclass Premium. Pictures in portrait or landscape format measuring 40 x 50 cm, which can be grouped side by side or one above the other, are particularly well-suited for a picture gallery. The painting template features a tactile and visible linen texture. This not only enhances the appearance of the finished painting but also emphasizes the artistic character of the image and supports the desired oil-on-canvas effect. Note: Schipper Arts & Crafts offers suitable aluminum frames for this picture format.
