Technology:
The SM330 solar cell delivers 0.5 V and provides a generous 330 mA (max). Of course, we only offer crystalline solar cell material with high efficiency, which is embedded in a stable base plate. Therefore, breaking the cells is out of the question. For ease of assembly, the SM330 solar module already has two screw terminals integrated, making it incredibly easy to connect to the RF300 solar motor. Simply insert the cable into the terminal, tighten it slightly – done. With the proven RF300 solar motor, your model will move effortlessly. The solar motor and solar cell thus form an optimal combination that ensures excellent functionality. The 9.5 cm propeller complements the set perfectly.

Tip from the Solar Professor:
Required lighting conditions: In dark or poorly lit rooms or with light sources like neon tubes and energy-saving lamps, each solar cell generates very little power, and the motor cannot start due to insufficient output. However, as soon as sunlight or halogen light shines on the solar cell, it generates enough power for continuous movement. A model can also be operated with a strong flashlight, but the flashlight must be very close to the solar cell. So it's better to go outside in the sun or have a halogen lamp ready, and you'll soon see amazed looks and lasting insights.
