The Bigwig is now available as a 2017 reissue. Tamiya originally presented the model in 1986 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of RC models. This was the first model where the body was designed by an external designer: Takuya Yura. The reissue closely resembles the original version and has only been revised in a few details.
Differences from the original version:
Required accessories: Remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, electronic speed controller (max. height 22mm), charger, paint for Lexan body (Tamiya PS-).
