Tamiya presents one of the most legendary supercars on the TT-02 chassis: the Honda NSX in its 1998 version. The NSX features a mid-engine layout and was introduced in 1990. It gained worldwide attention through numerous racing appearances, such as in the Japanese GT series in 1996. The 1998 version is equipped with a 3.5 L V6 engine and features revised aerodynamics, a lower center of gravity, and a new braking system.

The Tamiya model is based on the proven 1:10 scale TT-02 chassis. This chassis allows for multiple adjustments to wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratio, and with countless optional tuning parts, it can be quickly modified into a racer. The 4WD drive system with a central shaft, double wishbones, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures realistic handling and excellent traction. The chassis underside is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types.

A visual highlight are the wheel hubs, which feature attached brake disc replicas. The body is pre-painted in PS-1 White and PS-31 Smoke for window tinting.
