The production of the King Tiger began in 1944, as World War II was nearing its end. Equipped with the Henschel type turret featuring an 88 mm gun and thick armor, the King Tiger was a feared tank among the Allied forces. The precisely replicated model kit in 1:16 scale perfectly showcases all details and is fully functional. Thanks to two motors, the tank can turn on the spot, and both the turret rotation and the alignment of the cannon barrel are remote-controlled. The engine sound was recorded from the world's only operational King Tiger at the Tank Museum in Saumur, France, which is equipped with a powerful Maybach V-12 engine producing 700 horsepower.
