Tamiya presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) now in the version with a classic Toyota Land Cruiser 40 body. The CC-02 chassis is modeled after real off-road vehicles and features a frame chassis, bevel differentials at the front and rear, as well as a 4-link suspension. The solid axles at the front and rear make the model particularly capable off-road, and the 4 CVA oil-filled shock absorbers perfectly cushion any unevenness. A powerful 540 motor, mounted behind the front axle, provides the drive. This ensures good weight distribution when tackling rough terrain. Attached to the motor is the gearbox, which transmits power via movable drive shafts to the front and rear axles.

The body features the unmistakable design of the Land Cruiser 40 and is made of polycarbonate. Additionally, Tamiya has provided separate attachment parts and a new roof rack.
