Product details
The Dallas SL by Bobby Ewing Architects became popular in the late 1970s through the American hit series "Dallas." Back then, with the US license plate "Ewing 4," the Mercedes-Benz R107 became world-famous. The SL was meant to be a successful two-seater roadster. WIKING presents it in a metallic cypress green finish. The R107 was part of the SL series, which replaced the so-called "Pagoda" (Mercedes-Benz W113) in 1971. Those who take a close look at the WIKING model will understand why the SL was so influential in shaping Mercedes-Benz design in the 1970s. The angular rectangular headlights and the robustly wide rear lights are unforgettable. The upper and lower body are painted in metallic cypress green and finished with a clear coat. The middle part is painted silver with a Kardant section. The interior is sand yellow. The black grille features a silver Mercedes-Benz star and trim. The side window trims are printed in silver. At the rear, the taillights are printed in red, and the model designation "350 SL" with an underscore is printed in silver.
