The Beer Bulli from the Nordstadt

The VW T1 was a legend among the breweries in Dortmund – every brewing site had several Bullis parked in the yard! This was also true for the Hansa Brewery. Today, when people talk about Hansa in Dortmund, they mean the traditional brewery located in the Nordstadt. Once independent, it was taken over by DAB in 1971 – today, the original site remains the only one of the former large breweries in the Ruhr area and is part of the Dr. Oetker corporate group. The former Hansa Brewery is located in Dortmund's Nordstadt, not far from Borsigplatz, and now serves as the headquarters of the Dortmund Actien-Brauerei, which took over Dortmund Hansa in 1971.

The body is painted in camo blue on the upper and lower parts, with a black chassis and lilac-blue bumpers. The interior features a black steering wheel. The headlights are transparent, and the taillights are red-transparent. The VW logo and headlight area, as well as the chrome rings, are printed in silver. The turn signals are traffic orange. The side door handles are silvered. The signal blue lettering "Dortmunder Hansa Bier" is backed with a white shadow.
