Product details
The choice of color makes the difference – in the original and the model. This was the case back then with the original and is still true today with WIKING. With the luxury version of the Alexander TS, Lloyd aimed to finally make his small car stylish. WIKING shows how the Bremen designers envisioned it: a salmon-colored body design with a white roof and a generous amount of chrome trim. At that time, the Lloyd – unlike the Beetle – was considered a small car with the prosperity flair of its Borgward parent company. No rear engine like the Beetle, but the character of the sedan was appreciated for the common man. The "Alexander TS" was essentially regarded as the "de luxe" version of the Lloyd. All of this was evident in the elegantly chrome-plated radiator grille – WIKING also realizes the fine chrome lettering. The body is salmon red with a white printed roof, the interior and steering wheel are light ivory, and the chassis is black. Front headlights are transparently integrated. Bumpers, front headlight rings, as well as Lloyd lettering, side trim strips, door handles, and the radiator grille are painted silver.
