Opel boldly claimed it and was also ready to provide proof. Those who chose the Berlinetta version of the Manta B belonged to the group of Manta drivers who received the most exclusive equipment. The interior was mostly color-coordinated with the paint, often in matching tones. The color variant Orange chosen by WIKING was one of the most popular designs of the Manta B during those Flower Power years. The coupe was produced from 1975 to 1988 and offered power outputs ranging from 55 to 110 horsepower, sometimes more civilian, sometimes more sporty. The body features two horizontal air intake openings, creating a harmoniously closed Manta front that is so typical of the sports coupe. WIKING incorporates the character-defining rectangular headlights and gives the interior a separate steering wheel.
