Is it worth buying the car? Or is there one that is better and not much more expensive?
Does it have enough power to drive off-road through the forest and otherwise off-road?
Is it stable, so can it drive over small ramps and roots?
I have had very good experiences. It can take a lot of punishment and can't be broken down just by riding with jumps and proper manoeuvres. I ride it through the forest, meadows, roads, country roads and test it everywhere. He has trouble when the grass is too high. But that's probably where every RC car has trouble.
However, I have often driven it into snow posts, ditches, big rocks and deep potholes at full speed (by accident of course). In such brutal full-contact collisions, every RC car goes arse. But the good thing is, you can find every single part for the Crusher to order here in Galaxus and you can replace everything, even the motor.
What you absolutely have to buy is a different battery. The battery that comes with the Crusher gives up the ghost after 10-20 rides. You had to buy something of higher quality, and it's worth it, because the car no longer runs for 15 minutes, but for 60 minutes.
As a beginner, you won't find a cheaper car that drives so fast and is so easy to repair. A car in this class from the big brands, which you can compare with speed, off-road possibilities, etc., costs CHF 450 for the premium brands. The premium brands quickly cost CHF 450+, and that's without a battery...
The car is a real joy to drive. Power for off-road more than sufficient. More of a problem to keep control at this speed. Speed can be trimmed with the potentiometer. It just keeps breaking down. But that is normal from my point of view.
Not so much, the suspension is made of aluminium, which in itself is of higher quality, but also stronger, the shock absorber hides the impact of the spring bridge, which leads to the breakage of the steering (plastic). I recommend the Arrma Senton, which is a bit expensive but feels indestructible, the Senton can withstand a 3m jump or a drive into a tree.
