Question about Dakine Split Roller

I bought the Dakine Split Roller Vx21 (110l, XL) for CHF 119.- and the Dakine Split Roller for CHF 149.- because I thought they were the same. Turns out the material is slightly different. But I'm still not quite sure which is the better one? Is the Dakine Split Roller Vx21 (110l, XL) made with water-repellent material, although it is cheaper? Furthermore, the "Splitwing collapsible brace" doesn't fit by far into the specified tabs on either one. It is impossible to fix them, so everything remains a bit loose and unstable. Does anyone have the same problems, or did I just accidentally receive two models that are "wrong"?

It takes a bit of force to insert the "wings" into the tabs, but for me it works without a problem and the upper part is then quite stable.
